Urgent Fraud Alerts - Please read immediately!

Updated 3/31/08 *Corporate Check Scam* - If you receive a corporate check from Rock Valley Credit Union and have not requested it from your account please do not cash it. This scam is one of many affecting financial institutions around the world. Scammers are posing as financial institutions and requesting persons to cash these checks and issue a majority of the funds back to them. If you receive one of these checks please contact us immediately.
We have been notified by several members that they have received computerized and live phone calls from scam artists posing as representatives of Rock Valley Credit Union. They are asking for verification of social security numbers. Rock Valley Credit Union does not request personal information from our members via email, telephone or by any other means. If you suspect you have been the victim of a possible scam please make note of the phone number appearing on your caller ID (if possible) and notify us immediately.
